  1. This is an interesting topic you guys chose, obviously, travel was a big part of the Crusades but I know its definitely not something I think about when discussing the Crusades. The creating of routes to go to war and how they created trade routes after makes me wonder if trade would have been something slower to get started without the Crusades.

  2. This podcast was very insightful! The interview style had in depth questions that I didn’t even think of! The inclusion of differing theories of the crusade such as the desire of international trade, it super interesting and thought provoking. Well done!

  3. This is a very interesting podcast! You seemed really comfortable with the interview style you used. The flow of the conversation sounded very natural, which is something I enjoyed a lot. This also made if very easy to follow the information you presented. Great job!

  4. This was very interesting to me as some of your topic overlaps with our podcast, the Crusaders relationship with the Byzantine Empire. You provided a lot of information in answering specific questions. I enjoyed the back and forth and learned a lot.

  5. This was very interesting to me as some of your topic overlaps with our podcast, the Crusaders relationship with the Byzantine Empire. You provided a lot of information in answering specific questions. I enjoyed the back and forth and learned a lot.

  6. An interesting topic that I think answers an often forgotten question about huge endeavors in history. It was really cool to learn about the actual “how” of the Crusades since it helps illuminate what waging a long campaign like that would take.

  7. I thought the two host of this podcast had a very good dynamic. It was an interesting topic that was clear you both know what you were talking about and seemed to have enjoyed producing this podcast. Traveling during this time period is something I had not thought much into before so I enjoyed that this podcast took a historical approach, as it is a history podcast, but was too overloading.

  8. I liked the way you implemented a more scientific approach to the research, the practical implications in a different time is not a normal topic, which really drew me into the discussion. I also liked how you had one person with 0 knowledge, answering questions for any person with no background on this topic.
